At the beginning of the chapter, Philomel meets Princess Elensia. Elensia went to Philomel’s house to find out if Naser was there. Philomel tells her that if she’s talking about the little Duke of Avriden, he just got back because he’s on a different road than her highness.
She asks her if she has a meeting with the little duke. Elensia tells her that she heard Nasar of Duke Avriden is a really cool guy, so she wanted to meet him once. She asks Philomel if she knows Nasar personally. Philomel tells her that they are not really close, but that they see each other often because he is going to marry her.
Elensia tells her that she’s jealous that she doesn’t have a bothersome maid following her around, but she’s also thankful that everyone does that for her. She doesn’t like it when people do things for her that she can do on her own. She tells Philomel that the princess’s position must have been making her feel bad lately. She leaves there after that.
